Sharron Graves serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty and applicants for the Molecular Medicine Graduate Program. Her office is located in the Bressler Research Building, Room 1-005 D.

Her duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Plans and coordinates of daily program operations and long range program activities.
  • Assists students.
  • Spearheads recruitment efforts and represents the program as needed.
  • Maintains the Employee Funding Profiles for our 60 plus graduate research assistants, including commitment accounting coordination with multiple departments, programs and training grants.
  • Coordinates and chairs program staff meetings.
  • Management of the budget, approving finances, tracking expenditures and preparing reports on current finances.
  • Negotiates contracts and terms with vendors; tracks activities of outside agencies subcontracting with the program.
  • Provides data analysis, reporting, and strategic planning
  • Plans data management for program.
  • Writes, prepares, and reviews grant reports, proposals and renewals.
  • Supervises, trains, schedules, and evaluates professional and clerical staff.
  • Assists in the interviewing and hiring of program participants.
  • Identifies and pursues outside funding.
